Originally from Minnesota, I now live in Elephant Butte, NM. I am a self-taught artist working with several mediums- Encaustics, Unique textiles and Recycled fabrics, Cold Wax and Oil paint. I have been encouraged to continue learning and creating for as long as I can. After working specific techniques and processes with my chosen medium, I, most often, break the rules and go forward relying on my instincts. I create story pieces of beauty. I also enjoy reading, writing poetry, and gardening. CARPE DIEM!
