Sue wore her first pair of cowgirl boots at the age of 4 and she’s been western ever since. She interprets the west in painting, drawing, and photography with the greatest admiration for the people, animals, and places that create the culture of the west. Her work appeals to people who love the west as it is found: it’s landscapes, places, people, faces, and experiences. Sue's work surveys contemporary ranching and rodeo and also the disappearing fragments of rural places.
Sue is a graduate of the University of New Mexico Fine Arts Program with a degree in painting and drawing.
